United Kingdom: St Stephen's, Lympne church

Last years the use of heat pumps has been extended for the climatization of Churches in the United Kingdom. Within all the examples that we can find we have selected the case of the Church St Stephen's Church, in England.

This church, built from stone during the 11th century, underwent several extensions in the following three hundred years with a North tower and later a South tower being completly rebuilt. In 1880 the first restoration was realized by the architect James Pearson Albin.

In 2015, a new change in the Church began to be managed, in this case the aim was to reduce the heating costs that were growing ever larger due to the use of old oil boilers, radiators and bad insulation. To solve this problem and to have a more efficient system, an Ecoforest ecoGEO B1 5-22 kW EH heat pump together with new underfloor heating was installed, providing the church with heating and sanitary domestic hot water.

Portugal: Parque Serra da Lousã Hotel

The reception of the Parque Serra da Lousa hotel located in Miranda do Corvo uses our Venecia ducted air pellet stove to warm their guests as soon as they arrive at the hotel.

The attractiveness of this pellet stove, with a decorative front in bamboo and a black tempered glass, makes it ideal for those places where besides rewarding comfort, design is also important.

Andorra: Mountain Bungalows

Awesome installation on a camping in Andorra where each bungalow is equipped with one of our Basic pellet stoves. Due to the height at which they are located and the working pressures that these stoves have to endure, the Ecoforest technical team had to develop a special configuration for its correct operation.

This is possible due to the fact that Ecoforest fully develops our equipment, including the electronic board and its software. Thus we manage to adapt our products to the demands of the installation, achieving impossible installations with exceptional performances.

Spain: Rural hotel Los Argüellos

Inside the Hotel Rural los Argüellos there is also a restaurant with a patio in the middle. The temperatures in this beautiful landscape are very low during the winter, now the complex has a floor heating system by propane gas but have decided to supplement this system with a pellet stove.

By installing a Moon stove, they provide the dining room with a feeling of comfort and warmth as well as providing great energy and economic savings. The 7 kW Moon stove is ideal for rural areas and also has a hopper of 11 kg which provides long periods of time without the need to recharge the fuel.
